200-Hour Yoga Training and Certification

The Beyond the Pose Yoga Training program is a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program in Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga. If you want a diverse and open-minded perspective for your foundation of yoga, then this is the perfect training for you.

Completing this teacher training will qualify you for a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. Students will receive a diploma, which they can use to register with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-200 level and share with prospective employers.

Training Schedule:

Thursdays 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Yin Yoga foundations, poses, and sequencing

The focus is on the Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini lineages, and welcomes students of every lineage who want to deepen their practice and teaching.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, even if you have no intention to teach. Our 200-hour training program emphasizes the balance between a healthy, strong body, a clear, peaceful mind, and a strong spirit.

Your Trainers

Catherine Mazur

The lead trainer, Catherine Mazur, ERYT-500, is uniquely qualified to teach this curriculum with over 7000 hours of Vinyasa yoga teaching experience, a 500-hour RYT level in Hatha, and 200-hour level Kundalini yoga. She has been a meditator for over three decades, teaching meditation and yoga from the Midwest to the West Coast.

Catherine founded It’s Beyond the Pose and Beyond The Pose Yoga School, resources for yogis and yoga teachers. She is the bestselling author of Yoga, Midlife Pain Relief Secrets, and creator of YACEP programs taught as private mentorships and online courses.

As a trainer, Catherine presents in a relevant, approachable, and honest way, whether leading a 200-hour teacher training, public classes, and workshops or mentoring private and corporate clients.

Jennifer Lovas

Jennifer is a Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist, a giver of good vibes, and a conduit for transformation and healing. She has been practicing yoga, meditation, and other movement modalities for 16 years, teaching yoga for over a decade, and offering bodywork for the past seven years. Her 500-hour advanced teacher training was completed in California under the guidance of Rocky Heron and Noah Maze. She aims to provide mind, body, and spiritual development to all who are interested.

Jennifer is trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Power, Restorative, Therapeutics, Gentle, and SUP Yoga. As a teacher, Jen's classes include a mixture of alignment, blissful renewal, and light-heartedness. She provides guidance and insight while holding compassionate space so that you may choose your journey and experience on your mat. In her free time, you can find Jen climbing rocks, hiking in the mountains, surfing, sailing, fishing, and diving in the ocean.

Arianna Raiola

Born in Italy and raised in Southern California, Arianna discovered yoga in the late 1990s, quickly realizing that this unique healing modality would be a lifelong journey. Due to health complications, yoga became a primary tool for healing, which quickly evolved into a passion that she hoped to share with the world. Arianna’s love for yoga inspired her to train in Hot Yoga with the founder of this traditional hatha practice and beyond to Pune, India, where she landed on BKS Iyengar’s Yoga Institute doorstep. She was honored with acceptance and admitted into the institute to learn from the entire Iyengar family.

Further studies include various studies in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga and achieving E-RYT500 credentialing with the Yoga Alliance. Arianna soon built and operated Chesapeake Hot Yoga in Virginia, teaching 200 and 500-hour RYT courses, Yin Yoga workshops, and certification courses.

Tuition

  • $3,000 for payment plans or when registering within one month of the program start date.

  • $200 discount for Military and Seniors (65+).

  • Flexible payment plans are available by request; payments must be completed by the last day of the training.

  • Cancellation/Refund Policy: Only course credit for future programs is available; no refunds for tuition payments.
