Emily Korby

Emily Amico-Korby has been practicing yoga since 2014 when her physical therapist gave her an ultimatum; take up yoga or stop running.

She began taking yoga while healing hips with broken cartilage and other running-related injuries. After only a short while, she was healed and up and running again. She fell in love with the feeling of having a healthy body and mind and continued her journey. In 2015 she took her Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training at Corepower Yoga in Encinitas and began teaching immediately. She decided to take her teaching a step further and enrolled in an RYT 200 at Corepower in 2017 and has been teaching Vinyasa full-time since. Emily believes she would not be the person she is physically, mentally, or emotionally without yoga and hopes to hold space for people to have the same experience.

In Emily’s classes, you can expect an upbeat, high-energy, and fun flow. She pairs music with body movement in ways to make you feel revived.
