Yin Yoga with Sound Healing

This Sunday morning class intends to bring you on a meditative journey designed to provide an experience combining the healing effects of yin yoga and sound healing vibrations to help you begin a new week in a blissful state of peace. Yin yoga stimulates the body's connective tissues and joints to improve energy flow through these specifically targeted areas. This is accomplished by passively holding specific postures (mostly seated and reclined) while learning to gently use the breath to ease and invite the body into the poses. We encourage using the provided yoga props in this class to allow you to find assistance in creating a more profound sensation of support, release, and relaxation while holding the poses.

Jasmine will provide sound during class and in Savasana using instruments such as the crystal bowls and chimes to release vibrational healing properties that have been proven to help aid in softening the physical tension in the body so it can open and release any energetic blockages often stored deep in the layers of Self within.

This class is an excellent addition to your weekly yoga practice and will complement those more dynamic and muscular-based Yang practices. All ages and levels will find benefit from this class.
