Raschel grew up in Encinitas and Point Loma, CA. She is married with 2 boys. Raschel found yoga in the early 90's and it was a natural fit for her and fell in love with the practice immediately! 1997 she met Iyengar Yoga instructor, Patty Pace at the School of Healing Arts, and enrolled in an Iyengar Yoga teacher training in order to deepen her practice. In 2012 she was in a car accident and the doctor recommended she do more yoga to heal herself, so she decided to sign up for the 200hr Hatha Yoga teacher training with an influence in Vinyasa and discovered her love of teaching yoga. Then in 2016 Raschel went deeper into the study and practice of yoga and received her 300hr teacher training and attained her 500hr RYT certification from the Roots and Wings Yoga school in Vista, CA. She also certified (100RYT) to teach the full Ashtanga Primary Series by Tim Miller in 2017.
Raschel's classes are a combination of Hatha, Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga. She focuses on alignment with longer holds while keeping it fun trying by offering new variations on the traditional asanas and balancing postures. She provides a variety of options for students of all levels and amazing adjustments in her classes. She has found that sharing her love of yoga has been more rewarding than she ever realized possible. For Raschel, yoga is a form of exploration and she loves to share her practice with anyone willing to flow with her.
