I discovered yoga in 2009 as a means to restore balance from the long hours working as an elementary school teacher and an unhealthy lifestyle. I was never athletic, so I found the practice quite challenging, but satisfying. I started to crave the inner peace that I felt after every class.In 2012, I left my stressful career behind, and dove into yoga studies by immersing myself in a 500-hour intensive yoga teacher training. I led classes in Dallas, Texas for over seven years, and now I am looking forward to teaching near my new home in Carlsbad, California.
My intention is to lead a nurturing, alignment focused class which will combine my love of music with the practice of asana. In my classes, you will be encouraged to embrace yourself as you are, while feeling physically challenged, yet accomplished.
I truly believe that yoga is for everyone. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you grow at the pace that suits you best. If you can breathe, then you can practice yoga.
