Growing up in East Germany I was introduced to competitive sports at the age of seven. Since then, physical and mental training have always been an important part of my life.I started teaching aerobics and it was then that I was smitten by the love of teaching! I started yoga simply to become more flexible and heal my body. Years later the practice of yoga has transformed my life in ways I would have never dreamed of and I can’t wait to share and offer you tools to do the same.
In 2005 I finished my first 200 hour yoga-teacher training at the White Lotus Foundation. Ashley Fiala introduced me to Anusara Yoga, since then alignment based yoga and the life affirming approach of tantric philosophy are the essence of the yoga I practice and teach. To serve my students and clients in the most optimal way, I also became a Massage Therapist and NLP Practitioner. Yoga Anatomy and therapeutics are my specialty.
I live with my wonderful husband Douglas, two dogs and two cats in Oceanside. I love cooking, drawing, painting and love the outdoors.
