I was first introduced to yoga in 2011 as another form of fitness. It quickly became the only form of fitness I was interested in due to the variety of styles and the mind body connection the practice offers. I knew early on I would become a yoga teacher because of it's positive influence on my life. I decided 2019 was my year and in April completed my 200 HR YTT In Guatemala. I view yoga as the ultimate form of self-care and a guide to teach people that we must care for ourselves first in order to be our best. I'm most passionate about the practice of Yin but also enjoy Hatha & Vinyasa. I believe all change begins with a healthy body, mind and heart so we begin to build a self worth that can withstand anything. In my classes I emphasis the importance of making your practice your own, focusing inward, and ditching comparison and competition.
