The winter solstice marks the official start of winter with the shortest day and longest night of the year. This shift of the season, invites us toward shed light on the places we have perhaps forgotten or neglected. It is a wonderful time to reflect back on the year; acknowledging how far we have come, how we have grown and evolved, but to also take note of what still needs nurturing and tending to.

During this class, you will hold static poses for longer periods of time in order to experience sensation in those areas and notice how your body and mind react to those holds. We will honor the pause of the winter season, relishing its quiet and the stillness. This will be the perfect way to honor the shortest day of the year and allow our bodies to mirror this natural time of rest.
