The intention for this Sunday morning class is to bring you on a meditative journey designed to provide an experience that combines the healing effects of yin yoga and sound healing vibrations to help you begin a new week in a blissful state of peace.Yin yoga focuses on stimulating the body's connective tissues and joints, to improve the flow of energy through these specifically targeted areas. This is accomplished by passively holding specific postures (mostly seated and reclined), while learning to use the breath to ease and invite the body further into the poses gently. We encourage the use of the provided yoga props in this class to allow you to find assistance in creating a deeper sensation of support, release, and relaxation while holding the poses.
Jasmine will provide sound during class and in Savasana using instruments such as the crystal bowls and chimes to release vibrational healing properties that have been proven to help aid in softening the physical tension in the body so it can open and release any energetic blockages often stored deep in the layers of Self within.
