You will first build heat and gain strength through a fun and challenging sequence bringing together breath and movement in a graceful, fluid flow that will encourage freedom in your joints, length in your muscles and deep awareness throughout your entire being. (Expect to sweat as we create some Yang energy to melt away all of the day's stress, tension, and worries).
The second half of class will then shift into a yin/restorative practice, where you will slow it WAY down with long, held, and supported postures; bringing you into a more subtle and contemplative practice of awareness and stillness. Finally we will end the practice in Yogic Sleep, Yoga Nidra (deep guided meditation: the best kept secret to deep relaxation).
