We depend on the strength and flexibility of our spine for nearly everything we do, from walking and sitting to coming into child’s pose and handstand. In order to move through the wide range of motions our spine requires, we need it to be both strong and flexible.In this class, Hatha yoga based postures will be taught to create strength and core stability, to bring more space in the hips and spine, as well as relieve tension in the upper back, neck, and shoulders, all while bringing you back to a deep sense of inner calm.

This class is open to all levels of yogis: those just beginning a yoga practice, anyone rehabilitating an injury, or for those who enjoy a slower paced practice and are interested in learning how how to maintain a healthy and supported spine in a safe, healing way.
